Have you heard of shrub drinks?
15th February 2023
What is a shrub? Have the FoodTalk team gone gardening? No. In this episode of the FoodTalk Show Henry Chevallier Guild of Non Such Shrubs joins AJ, Susie and Jane Peyton to explain all about this most ancient of drinks, and most importantly, sample them! Naturally, shrubs are vinegar-based, but if you’re from the Aspall family, who have been making vinegar and cider since 1728, that’s not really a problem. Listen to find out more.
The team also taste vinegars made by Francine Lee of Bumblee’s in her Somerset kitchen.
