The Fleming family are dairy farmers in County Kerry in the south west of Ireland. Noel Clancy, from Out the Gap podcast visited the farm to discover how and why they started making ice cream.

The Fleming’s farm is nestled on the edge of the beautiful Killarney National Park. As well as seeing the cows and the creamery, Noel discovers more about the family’s history and the reasons why John Fleming’s own immediate family ‘took the plunge’ and diversified.

The diversification doesn’t end there though, and last Christmas even Santa made himself home in the old family cottage on the farm. Listen to hear why!
