You might have noticed a buzz on your social media feeds this week around #AgriLeadershipWeek, which runs from 16-20 May 2022, but what exactly is it?
Agri Leadership Week sets out to highlight the value of management training opportunities in the farming sector.
A study from the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) showed that even a small amount of leadership training can return significant benefits; suggesting that for every £1 spent on training, businesses could see a return of £13.
The campaign is organised by:
- AHDB
- Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust
- Institute for Agricultural Management
- The Worshipful Company of Farmers
- The Farmers Club Charitable Trust
So, how can you get involved?
Look for the #AgriLeadershipWeek hashtag on Twitter and share your own success story.
You can also enter a competition to win a 121 mentoring session with an industry-leading mentor to help further your development.
To enter, all you need to do is make a pledge on how you will make a positive change to improve your leadership skills.
And don’t forget you can sign up for leadership and development courses at The Council for Awards of Royal Agricultural Societies website.
