What’s driving the UK forestry market and why do landowners want to plant trees? This week we take another look at The Rural Report with help from our new Forestry Investment Team, which launched in April 2020.

The team includes Andrew Bronwin, who is an external consultant to our private office. Andrew’s firm, Bronwin Andrew & Co also has an association with Knight Frank.

We hear from Andrew Bronwin, alongside our head of rural research, Andrew Shirley; and David Hetherington, ecology advisor at Cairngorms National Park – who was also a contributor to our Rural Report.

About Intelligence Talks

Intelligence Talks is a podcast from Knight Frank. It is an extension of the firm’s Intelligence Labs research platform and each episode provides a deeper insight into key property trends and Knight Frank research.

It is also a more informal and conversational take on what is happening in a fast-paced industry which is now undergoing unprecedented change. Our experts can share what they are hearing from the market, the ‘word on the street’ and current sentiment.

Each week Anna Ward, Senior Residential Analyst, is joined by experts from across the property industry to hear their take on everything from the impact of Covid-19 on residential development in London, to where international buyers are choosing to invest.

This podcast breaks down the news and delves into the intelligence behind the headlines.
