Take a journey around Down Farm and learn a bit about how we grow using the ‘no-dig’ method. We are a one-acre, organic market garden in North Devon that grows veg for our community.

About Olivia

Olivia James runs a one-acre market garden on a hill between Dartmoor and Exmoor. She grows more than 50 types of organic vegetables, including tomatoes, salad leaves, beans, courgettes, peas, carrots and onions – soil health is her top priority. She farms with her partner Henry, and they sell all their produce to customers locally, via box schemes, farmers markets, shops and cafes.

Olivia was trained in media and and video-production by Just Farmers – a project run by BBC broadcaster and journalist Anna Jones, and her partner and cameraman, Alex Price.
