It’s lambing time when baby sheep are born! Shepherdess, Hannah Jackson, takes us behind the scenes.
Hannah is a sheep farmer in Cumbria and has 120 of her own sheep to look after. She also works as a ‘contract shepherdess’ which means she helps other sheep farmers at busy times of the year, like lambing.
Right now, Hannah is helping her neighbour, who has 1,300 sheep.
