Cows are pregnant for nine months, and in order have another lot of calves in 2020, it’s time to get our girls at the farm pregnant again.
Now without going into too much detail about the birds and the bees, there are two main ways to breed with cows, that’s either with a bull (natural service as we call it) or artificial insemination can be used.
It’s a fascinating topic and I find it so interesting every year to look at our breeding and how we can improve our herd of cows for the future.
