This is the last step in my management system before this group of ewes lambs next month. I trim the ewe’s hooves and vaccinate with a chlostridial vaccine about 6 weeks prior to lambing, which means they get trimmed every 9 months.

The trim chute is a Veno unit out of Holland that I purchased in 2012. In this video, I show how I get the ewes into the trim chute, and trim the hooves.
