I love calving time more than any other time of the farming year, and this one has certainly been extra special.
Having an 11-week-old baby at home and having to check cows through the night, has been tough. With summer comes calving, and it’s dominated everything over the past few weeks.
But all the hard work has definitely paid-off so far.
