Join Will in a field full of spring barley, linseed and phacelia. Unlike other crops on the farm that end up in the biscuits, bread or porridge that we eat, this field is dedicated to providing food and shelter for wildlife.

Will also takes you to the dune land, a sight of special scientific interest, where his cows help to manage habitat for wildlife, and to the corners of the farm where they sow flowers or plant trees to help nature thrive.

About Will and his farm

Will Watson-Armstrong farms in partnership with his father Francis on their farm in Bamburgh, North-East Northumberland. They grow wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape. They say, “We strive to grow high quality food whilst conserving and improving the landscape that we farm for the benefit of the environment and nature”.
