Katie is 27 and works on a beef cattle farm in Kent, England. She also has her own smallholding and farm business where has kept sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys and ducks.
She shares her experiences and knowledge to other aspiring small-scale farmers, smallholders and homesteaders through her blog www.femalefarmeruk.com and on her social media @FemaleFarmerUK.
Her work has seen her recognised as a finalist for Digital Innovator of the Year at the British Farming Awards, as one of Barclay's Women of the Year 2018 and as runner up of the NFU's Young Farmer of the Year in 2017.
