Learn on the farm with Emily – aerating the grass

Share Article

Learn on the farm with Emily as she teaches you about the aerator. The aerator’s job it to aerate the grass, which means putting air into the grass.

The blades on the aerator rotate and cut into the soil like a knife cuts a cake. By helping nitrogen into the soil, and making the soil less compact, the aerator helps the grass to breathe and grow.
