Did you know there are robots in farming? There are robots that zap weeds, robots that take photos of crops, and more.

The Small Robot Company is designing robots and creating technology that will make farming more efficient and sustainable in the future.

Like science and maths? Interested in food and farming? Becoming a robot engineer might be the career for you!

More about Small Robot Company

Small Robot Company’s mission is to maximise food production while reducing its cost on the environment. Our farm bots Tom, Dick, and Harry will plant, feed and weed arable crops autonomously, with minimal waste. We are currently focused on developing non-chemical weeding, with field trials starting later this year.

Our no-till robotics also prevents soil erosion and runoff, reducing cultivation emissions, and improving carbon sequestration. Field trials are currently being conducted with 20 farmer customers, including Waitrose and the National Trust.
