Interested in animals or science? Farm vet Theeb recommends exploring veterinary as a career option.
In this video, he explains how he decided to be a farm vet, what his job involves from day to day, and some highlights, including an escapee bull and helping a goat give birth to sextuplets.
Theeb also shares some advice on how to get in to vet school, from getting volunteer experience to seeking mentorship.
Theeb is a dairy vet who is based in the South West. Working as a consultant with farmers all over the country, he has also conducted research in a number of different countries including the US and China.
Other activities include being an agricultural advisor in Vet Sustain, a veterinary sustainability group, and veterinary trustee of an urban farm, St Werburghs City Farm.
About the British Veterinary Ethnicity and Diversity Society (BVEDS)
