Ben, who’s seven years old, explains how sunflowers grow on his family’s farm in Warwickshire. Ben made this video as part of his school work with the help of his parents Richard and Alex, and his little brother Jack.

About Ben and his family’s farm

Ben’s family farm 500 acres of arable in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Ben and his brother Jack will hopefully be 4th generation farmers. They have a farm shop which (with a bit of innovation and a leap of faith) is busier than usual at the moment with their new contactless drive through.

They grow most of the produce that they sell in the farm shop, and they recently planted 10 acres of strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries and more, which they were planning to run as a pick your own service – but they’re now waiting to see where the summer takes them as they prepare to innovate again!
