Dilynwch Hefin y ffermwr wrth iddo fynd â chi ar daith o amgylch ei fferm yng ngorllewin Cymru – gan gyflwyno rhai o’i wartheg ar hyd y ffordd.

Am Hefin a’i fferm

Mae Hefin yn ffermio gyda’i deulu yn Y Wern – fferm bîff – ar gyrion Cymoedd Tywi a Gwendraeth yn Sir Gaerfyrddin, Gorllewin Cymru. Maent yn ffermio gwartheg croesfrid brodorol a chyfandirol ac maent hefyd yn cymryd rhan mewn nifer o gynlluniau amgylcheddol.

Hefin yw’r 4edd genhedlaeth o’i deulu i ffermio yn Y Wern, a mae bellach yn rhedeg y fferm ynghyd â busnes arall oddi ar y fferm.

Follow farmer Hefin as he takes you on a tour of his farm in west Wales – introducing some of his cattle along the way (in Welsh).

About Hefin and his farm

Hefin farms with his family at Y Wern – a suckler beef farm – on the peripheries of the Tywi and Gwendraeth Valleys in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. They farm native and continental crossbred cattle and are also involved in a number of agri-environment schemes.

Hefin is the 4th generation of his family to farm at Y Wern, and Hefin now runs the farm along with another off -farm business.
