Cows and blackberry cobbler

Share Article

Last weekend was busy! We shored up our cattle working pen, weaned some more calves, ground some more corn and ended it all with some homemade farm fresh blackberry cobbler. All-in-all, a long, but really good couple of days. The cobbler recipe is below – and it’s way too easy and way too good for you not to go make one now, too. 😉

BLACKBERRY COBBLER:

? Melt 1 stick of butter in 9×13” dish (or 10” skillet) in 350 degree oven

? Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup self-rising flour and 1 cup BUTTERMILK

? Pour flour mixture over melted butter

? Sprinkle 1-2 cups berries (or fruit of choice) over top of mixture

? Cook until brown on top and bubbly – around 30 minutes

? Top with vanilla ice cream and eat
